You have more than 55 programs to choose from at OHSU, Oregon's only academic health center. Whether you're pursuing a degree, certificate or residency, you’ll train alongside faculty doing research and clinical work that is advancing healthcare in Oregon and beyond.

Dentistry

At the OHSU School of Dentistry, you begin seeing patients early in your training, working in a compassionate clinic that serves the Portland community. The school ranks 12th in the nation in NIH dental research funding, giving you access to faculty whose work is shaping the future of oral healthcare.

Medicine

At the OHSU School of Medicine, you'll learn from world-renowned faculty and have access to research opportunities you won't find anywhere else in Oregon. It's home to Oregon's only M.D. program and dozens of graduate programs in biomedical sciences, neuroscience, informatics and more. The school also offers programs for health professions in clinical and applied fields and GME residency and fellowship training in a range of specialties.
 
Scientists at the School of Medicine attracted $420.8 million in research funding during the 2024-25 fiscal year. In 2025, 100% of OHSU medical school graduates matched to residency programs.

Nursing

OHSU's School of Nursing offers programs across five campuses statewide and online. First-time NCLEX pass rates for OHSU nursing graduates run 4% above the national average. OHSU arranges your clinical placements for you at hospitals, community clinics and rural health sites across Oregon, so you can focus on learning.

Pharmacy

Through a partnership with Oregon State University, the OSU-OHSU College of Pharmacy gives you access to the clinical network of a major academic health center alongside OSU's pharmaceutical sciences expertise.

Public health

The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health brings together two universities. This partnership give you the opportunity to study population health, epidemiology, health policy and more in one of the most program-rich public health schools in the Pacific Northwest. You'll learn in Oregon communities, applying what you study to real public health challenges facing the state.

Health professions

Where are OHSU programs offered?

Most OHSU programs are based at the main campus in Portland. The School of Nursing also offers programs at campuses in Ashland, Bend, Klamath Falls, La Grande and Monmouth. Several programs across OHSU's schools are available online or in a hybrid format. Students in many programs also train at clinical sites throughout Oregon, including rural communities.
