Title IX Notice of Non-Discrimination
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX"), and certain
other federal and state laws, prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex
or gender in employment, as well as in all education programs and
activities operated by OHSU (both on and off campus). Title IX states:
"No person in the United States shall on the basis of sex be excluded from
participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination
under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."
OHSU complies with Title IX and 34 CFR Part 106 by prohibiting sex
and gender discrimination in education programs, activities,
employment, and admissions. Inquiries about Title IX compliance or
sex/gender discrimination may be directed to the OHSU Title IX
Coordinator, Laura Stadum.
Title IX Coordinator
The Title IX Coordinator is the administrator who oversees the OHSU's
compliance with Title IX. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for
overseeing the administrative investigation of reports of Title IX
Misconduct and is available to discuss options, provide support, explain
OHSU policies and procedures, and provide education on relevant
