Education Scholarship

Educators' Collaborative

The Educators' Collaborative is a community of practice for people who are interested in education, including direct teaching, innovation, scholarship, curriculum design and mentoring. Some of EC’s Education Grand Rounds are on Education Scholarship topics.

Educational Improvement and Innovation and the Educators’ Collaborative co-sponsor the annual Symposium on Educational Excellence, a local, one-day conference every spring showcasing education research and innovation at OHSU. Proposal submissions usually open in November.

Education Scholars Program

The Education Scholars Program (ESP) is a one-year certificate program providing faculty development in education scholarship.  The program is open to physician chief residents, fellows and faculty, and educators with clinical teaching responsibilities.  It is free for educators/trainees in the School of Medicine, and open to those at other schools for a cost.
