Non-OHSU Community Users
If you are an Oregon-licensed health professional, please see this guide: Resources for Oregon-licensed Health Providers.
Use electronic resources
On‑site access
- Use electronic resources at Library guest computers on the BICC 3rd floor
- Available 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Not available
- Off‑campus access for non‑OHSU users (including alumni)
Request articles
If you are an Oregon‑licensed MD or DO:
- You may use the Article Galaxy Scholar article delivery service.
For all other community users:
- You may request scans of articles that OHSU owns in print (fee‑based service; see FAQ for details).
- We cannot deliver articles that OHSU does not own in print. Ask your local public library about requesting articles with interlibrary loan.
Borrow print items
- The easiest option is to use interlibrary loan at your local public library.
- If that’s not possible, you may borrow up to 3 print items by visiting the BICC Library and opening an account.
You qualify for an account if you are:
- OHSU alumni
- A resident of Oregon or the Portland Metropolitan area
- Oregon-licensed health professional
- Faculty, staff, or student at a partner institution (including Orbis Cascade Alliance Summit Visiting Patrons)
Contact the Library to request an account.
