Electronic resources

OHSU's electronic resources are not available off campus to users who are not current OHSU students, staff or faculty.

Electronic resources are available to all from guest computer stations located inside the Library. Computer stations are available during regular open hoursThere are also several freely available public resources, some of which can be found here. Due to publisher licensing restrictions, we are not able to allow remote access to our electronic resources to non-OHSU users, including alumni.

Request articles

Non-OHSU community users may request scans of articles from material we own in print through our fee-based document delivery service.

If you are an Oregon-licensed MD or DO with an OHSU barcode, your licensing fees pay for use the Reprints Desk article delivery service. Learn more.

We are unable to deliver articles that we do not own print copies of to non-OHSU community members.

Borrow print items

If you are not affiliated with OHSU but fall into one of the categories below, you may check out items from OHSU Library’s print collection by contacting us to set up an OHSU Library account:

To register for an OHSU Library account, you must show current identification. Oregon licensed health professionals must provide current license information.

If you do not fall into one of the categories above and would like to use our print collection, please contact us to learn about your options.

Request and pick up print items

Once you have an account, you may use your Library barcode to request items to be placed on hold. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us for assistance. Items on hold can be picked up at our Marquam Hill location
