The OHSU Center for Diversity and Inclusion, School of Medicine and the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing and Public Health welcome Dr. Quinn Capers to campus Oct. 9-10 for a series of activities for faculty, staff and learners. Dean of Admissions and Professor of Medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Program Director of Interventional Radiology at Wexner Medical Center, Dr. Capers is nationally known for his Ted Talks, scholarly papers, presentations and workshops around how implicit bias impacts admissions and retention and how to create a more inclusive process and climate. While Dr. Capers specializes in student admissions, his insights, experiences and strategies are relevant to faculty and staff recruitment and retention as well.
