1/14/21 Cardiology (Salem, OR)

Practice Description: Cascade Cardiology, LLC is looking to expand our team of providers with a physician assistant with general cardiology and/or electrophysiology (EP) experience. As a part of our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers, the PA will provide patient care in cardiovascular medicine and heart rhythm management in outpatient and inpatient settings. Our newly built facility hosts 11 spacious treatment rooms, ICAEL accredited echocardiogram lab, ICANL accredited nuclear study lab and onsite laboratory services. Our team consists of interventional cardiologists and an electrophysiologist with the support of highly qualified physician assistants and certified medical assistants. We treat an array of inpatient and outpatient cardiac conditions working closely with Salem Hospital and their team of professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include: obtaining detailed history and performs physical examinations on assigned patients; assesses and treats acute and chronic medical problems and provides direct patient care to cardiac patients. Interpretation of lab work and cardiac studies. Staffing cardiac stress testing. Admitting, discharging and rounding of cardiac inpatients. Supervising and/or coordinates the activities of patient care and support staff in the clinic including consultation with subspecialties and ancillary teams. Provides health education to patients and families.

Experience & Qualifications Required or Preferred: New graduates are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a energetic and motivated go getter to join our team. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; Customer service and detail oriented; Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices, including: one-on-one counseling skills, treatment planning, assessments, and referrals; Experience with electronic medical records. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Salary Range & Benefits: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Full-time status with rotating weekend call coverage with supervising physician. Salary negotiable depending on experience. Practice Description: Elizabeth Institute, LLC - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was started by a female board-certified plastic surgeon in 2011. Our practice has been growing annually between 10-50%.

Duties & Responsibilities: Assist plastic surgeon in larger cosmetic and reconstructive surgery cases at our multispecialty ambulatory surgery center and local hospitals. Perform small in-office procedures. Participate in preoperative history/physical appointments. Participate in postoperative surgical appointments. Perform dermatological procedures and treatments. Effective and efficiently document and work with a highly utilized EMR system. 1-2 days a week assist in the operating room, 1-2 days a week work in clinic and 1-2 days a week perform cosmetic treatments and small in-office procedures. Share clinic on-call duties. 1-2 days a month travel to local hospitals to assist plastic surgeon.

Experience & Qualifications Required or Preferred: Capacity to learn from the plastic surgeon on how to perform treatments and procedures according to out high quality standards. Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task. Caring and compassionate. Team player with good communication skills. Licensed in Oregon.
