Under OHSU's Tuition Promise, you’ll pay the same tuition rate throughout your program.

To keep the guaranteed tuition rate, you must stay in good academic standing and remain enrolled in your program.

Residency information

In-state tuition for border county residents

If you live in select counties in California, Idaho, Nevada or Washington, you may qualify for in-state tuition at OHSU’s School of Nursing as long as you meet the residency requirements.

Eligible counties:

  • California: Del Norte, Siskiyou and Modoc
  • Idaho: Nez Perce, Idaho, Adams, Washington, Payette, Canyon and Owyhee
  • Nevada: Washoe and Humboldt
  • Washington: Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, Benton, Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield and Asotin 

In-state tuition for Idaho and Washington students at La Grande

If you are from Idaho or Washington and attend a program at the La Grande campus, you can pay in-state tuition rates for your undergraduate nursing degree at OHSU after completing one term at Eastern Oregon University at their resident rate.

In-state tuition for Western Regional Graduate Program students

When you apply to a Ph.D. or Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) program, you may qualify for in-state tuition if you live in a state participating in the Western Regional Graduate Program through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education.
