About me

I'm a board-certified interventional cardiologist at OHSU. This means I work with patients whose heart and vascular conditions require advanced, catheter-based treatments, often in situations where precision and experience make a critical difference. This includes:

I've been deeply involved in cardiovascular research throughout my career, with over 80 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, and I've presented my work at leading international conferences across the country. Staying at the forefront of what's possible in interventional cardiology isn't just a professional commitment; it's something I'm genuinely passionate about because it directly benefits the patients I care for.

Teaching and mentorship are also central to who I am as a doctor. My spouse is also a doctor at OHSU, and we're both actively involved in training programs. We share a genuine belief in investing in the next generation of cardiovascular leaders.

Outside of medicine, I love exploring the Pacific Northwest and all the incredible restaurants this region has to offer. My wife and I are passionate travelers who enjoy discovering new places, cultures and cuisines wherever we go.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
