What is a clinically integrated network?

A clinically integrated network (CIN) is a provider-led group of high-performing health care providers that work together to deliver efficient and affordable coordinated care to patients. Clinicians in a CIN coordinate care and share information (both clinical information and performance data) to improve the health of our populations. They also are engaged in continuous performance improvement in pursuit of the Quintuple Aim. As a result of these activities, the CIN enters value-based contracts to support this work.
