OHSU is Oregon's 24-hour resource for emergency care. We can care for everything from a minor injury to the most complex medical emergency or trauma.


OHSU Health coordinates care across OHSU, Hillsboro Medical Center and Adventist Health Portland. Each OHSU Health location provides and bills for care separately.

When to call

If you have a life-threatening medical condition that needs immediate care,

or go to the nearest hospital.

Security screening: All patients, staff and others must enter through a metal detector.

  • Please leave metal items at home.
  • Weapons such as knives will be turned over to OHSU Public Safety.
