I see patients atAbout me
I am a pediatric oncologist specializing in blood disorders and childhood cancers. I have a particular expertise in sarcomas and other solid tumors.
I care for children from infancy through adolescence, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside kids and their families during one of the most challenging experiences a family can face.
I previously served as Director of the Pediatric Solid Tumor Program at OHSU, and I continue to focus my practice on giving children with complex diagnoses the most thoughtful, expert care possible. Whether we're navigating a new diagnosis or managing ongoing treatment, my goal is to make sure you and your child always know what to expect and never feel alone in the process.
What keeps me inspired every day is the extraordinary resilience I witness in the children I treat and in the families who show up for them with such courage and love. It is truly humbling work.
Outside of the clinic, I'm a husband and dad to three daughters, and family is everything to me. We love to travel together whenever we can. I'm an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction alike, and a lifelong sports enthusiast. I enjoy playing, watching and coaching my daughters' teams, which keeps life full and fun.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
