About me

I’m a physician associate in the Department of Neurological Surgery at OHSU. I specialize in caring for adults with issues such as:

I assist patients in their recovery after surgery by:

  • Assessing incisions
  • Managing post-operative medications
  • Triaging new or worsening symptoms
  • Ordering necessary follow-up imaging

I also see patients with pituitary conditions, helping manage hormone imbalances through medication, lifestyle changes or surgery.

I believe that building a genuine connection with patients is the most important part of health care. Trust, openness and clear communication lay the foundation for healing and long-term health. My goal is to make sure every patient feels supported and confident in their care.

My journey into neurosurgery began after college, when I worked as a medical assistant in a hospital neurosurgery department and quickly fell in love with the field. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

After training and working on inpatient neurology and neurosurgery units, I eventually moved to Portland to focus on outpatient neurosurgery and neuroendocrinology here at OHSU.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
