About me

I’m an OB/GYN doctor who cares for adults and older adults, providing comprehensive support through every stage of reproductive health.

My clinical focus includes pregnancy care, LGBTQ+ health and gender-affirming care.

I treat a wide range of concerns, including:

My approach to patient care combines lifestyle counseling, medical management, surgical options, prenatal and postpartum care.

I find OB/GYN deeply rewarding because I get to validate patients’ experiences—especially when they’ve felt dismissed in the past—and help them navigate reproductive health at every phase of life. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard and supported.

I grew up in Gainesville, Florida, where I attended the University of Florida, and later completed my OB/GYN residency in Boston, Massachusetts. I moved to Portland to continue caring for patients in a community that values inclusive and compassionate care.

When I’m not seeing patients, you can usually find me exploring Portland’s incredible restaurant scene, catching a local music show, hiking or reading fantasy novels. At home, I love spending time with my spouse and our two cats, affectionately known as “the orange boys.”

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
