About me

I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, or, a dental specialist who performs surgery on the head, neck or facial skeleton. I care for patients of all ages, including children, adults and older adults. I focus on reconstruction after cancer treatment or traumatic injury.

I care for patients with:

  • Tumors and cysts of the jaws
  • Facial trauma
  • Complex defects of the face and jaw

My work often involves advanced reconstructive techniques, including tissue engineering, free flap reconstruction and implant-supported rehabilitation of the jaws, nose, eyes and ears. A special interest of mine is helping patients restore both form and function through dental and prosthetic options that support everyday activities like speaking, eating and smiling.

My approach to care is patient-driven and individualized. I take time to explain each treatment option, including the benefits and risks, so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you. My goal is to partner with you throughout your care and help you achieve the best possible outcome.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
