I see patients atAbout me
As part of the abdominal organ transplant surgery team, I see patients in the clinic before they are added to the list for kidney and/or pancreas transplant. I also care for them in the hospital before and after their surgery. I treat adults with:
- End stage renal disease
- Acute kidney injury
- Diabetes
Receiving medical care can come with many unknowns, and I enjoy helping my patients truly understand what is going on with their health and their individual treatment plan, making space for questions and honest conversations. I try to meet patients where they are, listen to their concerns, and explore those together while providing clear information and support. I also value getting to know my patients as people—what matters to them, what brings them joy, and how they live their lives outside of the hospital.
After earning my PA degree in 2019 and living in Atlanta and Boston, I returned to my home state of Oregon. My background includes cardiac surgery critical care and emergency medicine, which I practiced prior to joining OHSU’s abdominal organ transplant team. I’m thrilled to be back in Oregon and grateful for the opportunity to care for the people of this state and the surrounding areas.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, eating my way through the international Portland food scene, reading, traveling and creative hobbies like knitting, crocheting and sewing.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
