About me

I am a cardiologist (heart doctor) at Hillsboro Medical Center Cardiovascular Clinic, specializing in minimally invasive cardiology, with over 20 years of experience caring for patients across the Pacific Northwest.

I provide comprehensive heart care, with additional expertise in:

I also have training in critical care medicine, which helps me care for patients with complex or serious heart conditions.

My approach to care is centered on partnership and empowerment. I am dedicated to helping patients make meaningful lifestyle changes that support long-term heart health, relieve symptoms and reduce the overall burden of disease. I believe in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that focuses on education, prevention and personalized treatment plans.

In addition to my practice at Hillsboro Medical Center, I serve as a clinical associate at Oregon Health & Science University and maintain an affiliation with Adventist Health. I have been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2019 and am grateful for consistently high patient satisfaction ratings, which reflect my commitment to thorough, compassionate care.

My professional interests include health care innovation and patient advocacy. I have contributed to research in cardiovascular health, exercise physiology, echocardiography and long-term heart function.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
