About me

I’m Chloe Douglas, a pediatric nephrologist with a research focus on addressing health inequities in pediatric kidney transplantation access and outcomes, including how neighborhood socioeconomic deprivation impacts graft survival. I’m actively involved in consortium and large database clinical research and participate in national collaboratives. I treat all types of kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, and pediatric kidney transplantation.

I offer general nephrology care and kidney transplant evaluation and management.

I truly enjoy building lifelong relationships with my patients and their families, guiding them through their disease journey. My passion lies in pediatric kidney transplantation and ensuring excellent outcomes for pediatric transplant recipients. My research is dedicated to addressing health inequities in this field.

I recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest from Iowa and love spending time outdoors with my family and dog, whether it’s skiing, hiking, or running. I’m also a huge foodie and am always on the lookout for great restaurant recommendations in Portland!

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
