About me

I’m a speech-language pathologist helping adults and older adults improve their speech, language and cognitive skills after a neurological diagnosis. Whether you’re recovering from a stroke, managing Parkinson’s disease, or healing from a concussion or brain injury, I’m here to support you with personalized, functional strategies that make a real difference in your daily life.

Before joining OHSU’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, I worked in skilled nursing facilities and home health, helping patients regain communication and cognitive abilities in different stages of recovery. I also have a special interest in working with bilingual individuals with aphasia. I’ve completed advanced training through the Parkinson’s Foundation to better support patients with Parkinson’s-related speech and language changes.

My goal is to help you regain confidence in the tasks that matter most—whether having a conversation with family, staying independent at work, or simply feeling understood. We’ll work together to find practical tools and techniques that fit your everyday life.

Outside work, I love spending time with my family, heading to the coast and diving into a good book. I also make pottery at a local studio and have recently taken up surfing—still working on braving those cold Oregon waters!

I look forward to working with you and helping you find success in your recovery.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
