About me

Dr. Leclair practices general obstetrics and gynecology with a special focus in vulvar health and sexuality. Dr. Leclair is currently only accepting new patients for the program in vulvar health.

As a specialist in vulvovaginal health, Dr. Leclair’s research is concentrated around the complex relationship of these conditions and their impact on quality of life and sexual intimacy. Her research efforts also include vulvar pain, sexuality, vulvar skin diseases and vaginitis.

After completing medical school at the University of Vermont, Dr. Leclair returned to the Pacific Northwest for her training and medical career. She chose OHSU for its reputation of clinical excellence, academics and collegial atmosphere of the department. Dr. Leclair has a young family and enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, running, cross-country skiing, biking, and gardening.

Dr. Leclair sees patients at the OHSU Center for Women’s Health and OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center.

  1. The care I receive from this team (and from Dr. Leclair, specifically) Is what we all hope medical treatment will be: kind, conscientious, informative and effective.

  2. She carefully listened to my concerns, came up with a temporary and a more sustainable plan we will work next year. She also provided an explanation for her recommendations and was very ki d and concerned for my well being.

  3. A clinician who FINALLY listened to me, understood my issues, validated my experience, and wanted to relieve my suffering. She even offered other ideas about how my other medications might be contributing to my issue, looking at my overall health.

  4. Dr Leclare is professional and warm and gives what I'd call good human, compassionate care. I never feel rushed nor my concerns invalidated.

She has given me a way to deal with my medical issue using a minimum of the prescribed topical medication, and I appreciate that very much.

She always takes the time to answer all my 100's of questions. I never feel rushed by her. I always feel seen and heard by her.   17. Dr. Leclair is a remarkable physician. Other physicians with experience tend to disregard, and not listen. I've had many physicians over my lifespan, and I have never had one like Dr. Leclair. I feel heard, and engaged in my medical care. I feel like I understand, and it is due to her great beside manner and the time she invests in speaking with me.

  21. I've seen Dr. LeClair for years now and, as I expressed in my appointment, I don't want to lose her to retirement (or anything else!). I'm 82 and hope she's around as long as I need her. : )

  22. Dr. Leclair is phenomenal. Caring and personable, explains things well. Very sensitive. It is frustrating scheduling a visit with Dr. LeClair, but she is the best provider I have had and worth the hassle. I would not see another doctor for OBGYN matters.
