About me

Dr. Amanda Ecker specializes in providing gynecologic care for women of all ages. She has advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and is able to treat a variety of conditions including fibroids, heavy periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis and ovarian masses with small incisions. She feels that it is important to offer these services so that patients can have the shortest recovery and the most minimal impact to their daily lives. She takes pride in developing personalized treatment plans, working together with every patient to allow her to regain control of her health and improve her quality of life.

After living in Pittsburgh for six years to complete her training, she was ready to move back to Oregon, her home state. When not at the hospital, Dr. Ecker enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, kayaking and traveling. She also enjoys gardening, baking and is something of a foodie.

If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
