Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  1. Dr. Mayo is fantastic!!

  2. Dr Mayo was very personable. He explained my condition so thoroughly I didn't have any questions When he finished.

  3. Long-term, and very good!

  4. My clinician treated me with kindness and respect. He seemed knowledgeable, and made sure all my questions were answered.

  5. Staff always excellent

  6. Dr. Mayo started out strong and aggressive in my first appointment with him, but after understanding me a bit better, I believe, he eased up on his approach somewhat. I tend to appreciate warmer, more laid back doctors who readily show their care and concern but Dr. Mayo is a very well-respected, talented, skilled and just, in general, exceptional physician so I'm very willing to accept and deal with his personal approach to me. His obvious knowledge of leiomyosarcoma and the nuances of my particular surgery is very much appreciated.

  7. Dr Mayo / team is Top Tier Amazing! He is a very "in demand" Physician so it was tough to really ask a lot of my dumb questions because his time is so valuable. I did feel a tad bit hurried during our visits, but he definitely knows his stuff and im still very grateful for his expertise in handling my care. I wouldn't have had it any other way! Absolutely a 10 for Dr Mayo
