About me
I am a family medicine resident doctor providing comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, from children to older adults.
I care for a wide range of health needs, including:
- Perimenopause and menopause
- Diabetes
- Gender-affirming care for patients experiencing gender dysphoria
I have a special focus on hormone replacement therapy and LGBTQ+ health, and I am always open to transgender patients and anyone seeking affirming, inclusive care.
My goal is to build lasting relationships with my patients and create a space where you feel seen, respected and supported. I believe the best care comes from working together. I take a collaborative approach, partnering with you to find personalized solutions that fit your life, values and goals. I’m passionate about empowering patients through shared decision-making and care plans that reflect their unique needs.
I grew up and completed my education in the American South, around Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I developed a strong commitment to caring for communities that have historically been underserved by the medical system. I’m grateful to now call Portland home and to care for patients here.
Outside of the clinic, you can often find me on the water, at the climbing gym, exploring Oregon’s trails or checking out an indie theater.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
