About me

Dr. Johnson is a Professor in the OHSU Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) and has been a faculty member since 1999 when he completed his fellowship training at OHSU. Dr. Johnson has held many administrative roles at OHSU including Co-Director of the OHSU Sleep Program, Director of the CAP Clinic at Doernbecher, and Director of the CAP Consultation-Liaison Service. He currently is an Oregon Psychiatric Access Line for Kids (OPAL-K) Consultant and an Academic Advisor in the OHSU School of Medicine OASIS Program. In March 2026, he was awarded the Ellody/Casey E. Laramore Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Endowed Professorship allowing him to focus on improving statewide access to care for children and teens, and youth suicide prevention.
