Biography

Chris Fox is a nurse practitioner who is dedicated to caring for people living with HIV, from the newly diagnosed to long-term survivors. He considers HIV primary care to be his calling. He works with people at risk for HIV infection and provides HIV primary care and consultation.

He also has special interest in LGBTQ care, hepatitis C treatment and sexual health.

Fox trained in HIV primary care at San Francisco General Hospital's Ward 86, the world's first HIV outpatient clinic, and at the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, he also worked as a nurse at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and as a community health worker at the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

When he's not working, Fox enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and hanging out with his dog and friends.
