About me

I am a maternal–fetal medicine doctor specializing in the care of people with complex and high-risk pregnancies. I am an active member of the Fetal Care Center. My special interests include:

I am deeply committed to supporting patients and families facing difficult diagnoses through compassionate communication, shared decision-making and coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

My approach to care is holistic and personalized. I focus on understanding each patient’s medical, emotional and social needs. I also work closely with obstetrics, neonatology, palliative care and primary care teams to ensure seamless, thoughtful care throughout pregnancy. I believe education and empowerment are essential, and I strive to help families feel informed, supported and confident in their decisions.

I care for patients and also work as a clinical informaticist, helping design and improve clinical and health information systems that support patient care. I am board-certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Clinical Informatics.

Originally from San Francisco, I now live in Oregon with my partner, our young son and two cats. Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, gardening, knitting, running and exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
