About me

I am a neonatologist who provides care to critically ill newborns who have special needs immediately at birth and beyond. I treat prematurity and respiratory distress conditions. I also participate in the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital Fetal Care Program.

Neonatology is my passion. It is such a rewarding and humbling experience to support sick newborns and their families through their biggest challenges in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and beyond. I especially value antenatal consults because they offer an opportunity to connect with families early and help them navigate the critical and difficult times ahead of them.

Teaching is another passion of mine, and I'm excited to share knowledge and spark curiosity in others, empowering them to grow.

Outside the hospital, you can find me exploring the great outdoors or biking with my husband and two kids. When I'm not out on an adventure, I'm likely lost in a great book or captivated by a good movie.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
