About me

Dr. Phillips grew up in a rural farming community on the island of Kauai. There, she witnessed many health disparities which sparked her interest in medicine and a particular passion for providing care to medically underserved communities. Prior to medical school, Dr. Phillips received an undergraduate degree in Indigenous Health and Biomedical Sciences from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Public Health from Harvard. Dr. Phillips enjoys working in reproductive health because she is able to develop long lasting relationships with her patients and their families.

In her spare time, Dr. Phillips likes spending time with her partner and her family, especially watching her niece and nephews play sports. A lover of the outdoors, Dr. Phillips enjoys exploring the mountains, oceans, and forests that Oregon has to offer.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
