About me

Dr. Nicole Wong an internal medicine physician. With her experience growing up in a medically underserved area and giving educational presentations, she is passionate about underserved medicine, health advocacy, and health literacy.

Dr. Wong was born and raised in the border town of Laredo, Texas. During college, she completed a 4,000+ mile bike ride as part of the Texas 4000 for Cancer charity team. During the bike ride, Dr. Wong led several presentations about cancer prevention to rural communities. After graduating, she moved to Houston to attend the Baylor College of Medicine where she joined forces with a local Latinx community to give educational presentations on topics such as common over-the-counter medications, vaccines, and cancer screening recommendations.

In her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys running, cycling, and hiking. She also loves to bake sourdough and care for her many houseplants and two dogs, Skylar and Samson with her partner, Alex.
