About me
I am a maternal-fetal medicine doctor. I provide specialized care for women with complicated or high-risk pregnancies, addressing potential complications for both the mother and the fetus.
I chose a career in medicine to help improve the lives of individuals on a daily basis. My favorite part of this job is supporting families through the challenges associated with pregnancy and being a part of the joy surrounding childbirth.
My research focuses on maternal nutrition, body composition, metabolism, lactation, placental function, and fetal growth. I was raised in Washington state and came to OHSU to be part of a health care system with wonderful clinical and research opportunities.
In my free time, I enjoy getting outside to hike, travel, play soccer and spend time with family and friends.
Pregnancy and childbirth philosophy:
"Pregnancy and childbirth are some of the most important times of our lives. Although most of the time everything goes well, I want to be able to help those individuals who face additional challenges in making these events possible."

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
