I'm an NCCPA-certified physician associate (PA) in the Diagnostic Radiology department at OHSU. I completed my PA training at the Duke University School of Medicine, where I focused heavily on caring for complex patients in internal medicine. Over the years, my medical expertise has grown, and I’ve had the opportunity to practice in diagnostic and interventional radiology and nephrology.

I take a holistic approach to health and patient education, always aiming to offer care options that are well-matched to each individual’s unique needs.

As a native Oregonian, my foundation in patient care spans nearly three decades. My journey in health care began in 1996 at the Sabin Schellenburg Professional Technical Center in Clackamas County, where I first gained hands-on experience as a student. That early start helped shape a deeply rooted and sustained career in the health care field.

Like many physician associates, I trained in another area before entering medicine. I first earned my credentials as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and worked at the Portland VA Medical Center, providing physical therapy services for several years. That experience ultimately inspired me to pursue PA school and expand my ability to help patients in new ways.

Today, I remain intensely interested in diagnostic and interventional therapies for patients with complex conditions.

Outside of work, I enjoy long hikes, making vocal and instrumental music and cultivating various plants, especially camellias and irises.
