Why aren't there any ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one of three reasons:

About me

I am an oncologist, a doctor who treats patients with cancer. My area of focus includes treating patients with:

My goal is to provide extraordinary care, that honors both the person you have been before your sarcoma diagnosis and the person you are becoming, because I understand that a diagnosis of sarcoma can be life-changing. I hope to make the experience as positive as it can be. 

As all sarcomas are rare, I strive to provide as much information and control as possible, while supporting both you and the people you love. It is also my goal to expand what is known about sarcoma and improve its treatment, so please do ask me about our multidisciplinary clinic and our research.

I am the Sarcoma Program Director at Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU and am excited to be leading the OHSU Sarcoma team and to continue to identify and test new therapies to cure all types of sarcoma.

I am married with two amazing kids and a large, opinionated dog. Outside of work, I enjoy eating (and sometimes cooking) as well as trying out new sports, most recently soccer.

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
