About me
As an obstetrician-gynecologist, I care for patients through all stages of life—from adolescence to menopause and beyond.
I’m passionate about building long-term relationships and providing personalized care in pregnancy, reproductive health and gynecologic wellness.
I was born in Rancagua, Chile, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and Miami, Florida. I earned my B.S. in biology and interdisciplinary sciences from Florida International University and went on to complete a Master of Science in medical genetics and genomics at Tulane University. I attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where I found a passion for teaching and mentorship. I served as an anatomy TA, physical exam trainer and peer coach. I even helped develop contraception coursework that became part of the school’s core curriculum for first-year students.
One of my goals in medical school was to improve menstrual health education, and I was proud to make that a reality through my scholarly project. I partnered with the national Period Education Project to start a local chapter that trains students to lead menstrual health seminars for youth in our community. For this work and my dedication to the field, I was honored with the J. Milton Award for outstanding achievement in obstetrics and gynecology.
My research interests have included menstrual health knowledge gaps in U.S. college students, supplement use in assisted reproduction patients and vulvar pruritus.
Outside of medicine, I love playing pickleball, trivia nights, traveling, seeing movies in the theater, playing Texas Hold ’Em and relaxing with my sweet calico cat, Winnie.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
