About me
I’m a pulmonologist who cares for adults with lung or respiratory system issues. I have a special focus on chronic airway inflammatory diseases like asthma and COPD.
Earlier in my career, I led research on new ways to understand and treat chronic airway inflammation. Today, my main focus is providing thoughtful and thorough care for my patients. I work to make sure they feel heard, understood and empowered to take an active role in their lung health.
I joined the Portland VA and OHSU in 2011, where I currently direct the Pulmonary Outpatient Clinic and Pulmonary Function Lab. I also serve as the VA Site Director for the OHSU Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program.
I am delighted to help train the next generation of lung specialists.
