About me
I’m a surgical oncologist who specializes in treating:
I also have expertise in:
- Cancers in the upper digestive system, including esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, small intestine cancer and neuroendocrine tumors.
- Liposarcoma and other tumors in the back of the abdomen (retroperitoneal sarcomas)
As a cancer surgeon, I take pride in providing timely, compassionate care for you. I strongly believe in treating you as part of a team of cancer specialists.
My research interests are in pancreatic cancer and bile duct cancer. I strive to improve patients’ health and quality of life across cancer stages.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and hiking with my wife, children and golden retriever around the Pacific Northwest. I follow football, basketball and soccer at all levels. My hobbies include photography, the history of science and medicine, and international culinary arts.
