Biography
John Holland, M.D. is an associate professor of radiation medicine and vice chair of education for the Department of Radiation Medicine. He received a medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been part of OSHU’s medical staff since 1994. Dr. Holland serves as principal investigator at OHSU for Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) and NRG studies. He was selected as the 'Outstanding Faculty Teacher Award' recipient by OHSU’s residents in 2006 and 2007.
His research and clinical interests include head & neck and thoracic malignancies, focusing on the morbidities of radiation therapy (+/- chemotherapy) with hopes of reducing future side effects.
