About me

Dr. Bailey received his B.S. in biology from the University of Iowa, where he also received his M.D. He completed an ophthalmology residency at Emory University and a retina fellowship at Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Bailey is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Society of Retina Surgeons. Research interests include macular degeneration, inherited retinal diseases and diabetic retinopathy.

The fear I first had with treatments to my eye were calmed and erased by Dr. Bailey's gentle touch and clear description of the issues and treatment I receive. All the staff from the second I enter the parking garage I am greeted with a friendly smile. The reception and nursing staff all are warm and friendly. Over the last few years many have remembered me and now know me. This is incredible with the huge number of patients cared for.
