About me

Dr. Gupta is a board certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive ophthalmology care which includes a variety of conditions including cataract, glaucoma, dry eye and macular degeneration, with special focus on surgical management of routine and complex cataract surgery.

Dr. Gupta grew up in India where she completed her medical school, an ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in cornea and anterior segment. She completed an internal medicine residency at Loma Linda University, California and practiced as an internist for a few years. She subsequently completed a uveitis fellowship at OHSU, Casey Eye Institute and an ophthalmology residency at OHSU, Casey Eye Institute, Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Gupta is passionate about her work; she feels very fortunate to be able to help others regain back their vision and believes that the satisfaction from doing so is priceless. She likes to educate her patients about their eye conditions so they can be an active informed participant in the healthcare decisions that are made.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, hiking, traveling, reading, cooking and fine arts.

I had a very bad experience at my last practice and I felt extremely cared for by the doctor and staff at Casey Eye. I was really happy that I established my care as a patient here despite the wait.
