About me
I am a family medicine doctor providing comprehensive care for patients at every stage of life. I have a special interest in reproductive health, including:
- Contraceptive counseling and management
- IUD and Nexplanon placement
- Gynecologic care across the lifespan
- Perimenopause and menopause care
- Pregnancy, labor and delivery care
I also enjoy caring for patients living with complex chronic conditions and chronic pain, helping them navigate their health with a personalized and compassionate approach.
My path to medicine was shaped by my own experiences as a patient living with endometriosis. Those experiences taught me how important it is to feel heard, understood and supported by a care team you can trust.
I view healthcare as a partnership. Having spent years on the other side of the exam table, I understand the challenges, questions and emotions that can come with managing health concerns. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen and supported. Together, we’ll focus not only on treating symptoms but also on building resilience, celebrating progress and finding a path forward, even when there are no easy answers.
I am especially passionate about caring for immigrant, refugee and historically marginalized communities. My family immigrated from Ukraine, and I am fluent in both Ukrainian and English, which helps me connect with and support patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, I enjoy biking around Portland, hiking and camping on Mt. Hood, skiing at Mt. Bachelor and curling up with a good novel and my two cats.
