About me

I am a neurologist and the Director of the OHSU Headache Center. I've dedicated my career to helping people find relief from migraine and other head, neck and facial pain conditions

I know how much chronic headache disorders can affect every part of your life, from work and relationships to sleep and overall well-being, and I take that seriously in every appointment.

I focus on diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of headache disorders, from episodic migraine to complex, treatment-resistant cases. I work closely with each patient to build a care plan that makes sense for their specific situation, drawing on the latest medications, interventional treatments and emerging therapies. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches; your experience of pain is unique, and your treatment should be too.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
