About me
I’m a gynecologic oncologist who cares for adults with gynecologic-related cancers and pre-cancers such as:
- Ovarian cancer
- Uterine cancer
- Cervical cancer
- Vulvar cancers
- Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia
- Dysplasia
My treatments include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, advanced robotic and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, open abdominal surgery and vulvar surgery.
I believe in truly listening to each patient—their symptoms, questions and concerns—and making sure they feel heard and understood. My goal is to offer clear, evidence-based recommendations while building a supportive and trusting relationship.
I serve a diverse patient population as an assistant professor of gynecologic oncology at OHSU and am deeply committed to providing equitable care for patients in Portland and throughout Oregon. As a proud Latina and daughter of Mexican immigrants, I’m fluent in Spanish and value providing culturally competent, language-concordant care.
Prior to OHSU, I completed fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis and fellowship in OB/GYN at UCSF.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, using my Peloton, trying new restaurants and listening to music. I also love exploring Portland with my husband and our young twin daughters.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
