About me
Dr. Alycia Jackson is a family physician. She chose family medicine because it allows her to provide care for all people, no matter their age or stage in life. She loves caring for entire families and watching them grow and change over the years. Her training included a focus on under-served populations. She has a passion for helping those most in need. She believes the best way to help patients is by addressing all aspects of their lives, including psychological and social components.
She has special interests in pediatrics, obstetrics and women's health, diabetes management, global health and social justice.
When she's not working, Dr. Jackson and her husband enjoy spending time with their son and Goldador puppy. They explore the great Pacific Northwest and fly back home to Hawaii often for food, family and warm beaches. They love travel and exploring new cultures; they traveled to 11 countries in the four months before moving to Oregon. Dr. Jackson is also a self-proclaimed "foodie" and avid enthusiast of reading books, watching movies and playing the piano.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
