About me

Allison Loh, M.D., completed her undergraduate at Stanford University and medical school at University of Pennsylvania.  She returned to California for ophthalmology training at University of California, San Francisco.  She completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute as well as additional training in glaucoma.  After her fellowship, she joined the faculty at Casey Eye Institute and sees children with common eye conditions, such as amblyopia and strabismus, as well as rare eye conditions including cataracts and glaucoma.  She also sees adults with strabismus and eye alignment concerns.  Dr. Loh enjoys helping families and patients understand their eye conditions and treatment.  Dr. Loh enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and young son.  With her family, she enjoys going to restaurants, hiking and swimming.

We have been seeing her for almost 10 years and not only has she been amazing at adapting to my son's age over the years in her interactions with him, she always seems genuinely interested in him and his life. That level of care I have yet to see in any of the other doctors my son has ever had. I also appreciate that she has been his only dr all these years so thank you for retention that is also seldomly experienced in healthcare these days.

  3. The doctor was very kind, patient, and reassuring. She did her absolute best to validate my feelings, provide no judgement, only thoughtful and forward thinking. She laid out the pros and cons of surgery v waiting for it to naturally fix itself and helped guide my decision without influencing it.
