Accreditation

The Oregon Health & Science University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) a regional accrediting body approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by NWCC indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality evaluated through a peer review process. OHSU has maintained continuous accreditation with the Commission, earning reaffirmation of accreditation in its full-scale accreditation review in 2005. The next full review is scheduled for November 2015. For more information, contact: NWCCU, 8060 165th Ave NE Suite 100, Redmond, Wash. 98052, 425 558-4224 or visit their web site.
