CPR Certification

All students (expect undergraduate nursing students) are required to show evidence of current certification in CPR training for Health Care Providers (includes infant, child and adult). This regulation is required by all clinical agencies.

We are no longer making it a requirement for new undergraduate students to get their CPR/BLS certification before starting their program. All new students at all campuses will get CPR/BLS certified in one of the nursing courses (NRS 210 Foundations of Nursing) starting the first term in the program.

If you have questions regarding CPR/BLS, please email Mandi Andersen, Compliance Officer at anderama@ohsu.edu

All nursing students are expected to maintain and show evidence of a CPR certification while in their program.
