About me
*Always open to pregnant patients.*
I am a family practice physician who cares for patients of all ages. I offer my patients a variety of treatments, including comprehensive health consultation, prenatal care, cancer screening, skin cancer screening and treatment.
I love building relationships with patients and their families. The continuity that is core to being a Family Physician has offered me the rare privilege to connect with my patients and experience the wide range of the human experience this world has to offer. Helping patients through challenging diagnoses no matter the outcome has deepened my understanding of the human condition which continues to fuel my work.
My interest in primary care, maternal and child health, and HIV began while I was working with patients in Haiti, Guatemala, and Honduras. During my residency in Southern California, I worked with migrant farm workers, and I spent the first eight years of my career at a community health center in rural Oregon. These experiences strengthened my passion for giving high-quality care to all people. My training in operative obstetrics has given me a very rewarding career caring for people during pregnancy and childbirth, which is still a main focus of my work. I am committed to OHSU’s mission of teaching and patient care, and I look forward to growing alongside the organization and my patients.
I have lived in rural Colorado, Boston, Washington, D.C., Southern California, and rural Oregon. I now call Portland home, where I live with my family. On weekends, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, cycling, and spending time in Portland’s parks and green spaces. I also love cooking for friends and family.
