About me

Dr. Zahr joined Endocrine Division at Oregon Health and Science University as an assistant professor in December 2016.  She moved from Iowa City where she served as a faculty member in Endocrine Division at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  She is mainly interested in patients’ care, medical teaching and clinical research.  Her clinical practice is focused on endocrine and diabetes patients, such as patients with thyroid, adrenal, and bone diseases, type 2 and type 1 diabetes.  Her research interest involves the utilization of technology into optimizing patients’ care and conducting epidemiologic studies to learn more about risk factors and health events concerning diabetes patients. 

She enjoys travel, reading, jogging and spending time with her son and husband.
