About me

Dr. Rachel Laursen is a neurologist who treats ischemic stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), hemorrhagic stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Her clinical interests and treatments include acute stroke management, secondary stroke prevention and investigational trials in new stroke therapies.

Dr. Laursen is an assistant professor of neurology in the Division of Stroke and Vascular Neurology. She completed her medical degree, neurology residency and stroke fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.

In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, hiking and skiing.

  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
