About me
My name is Dr. Dakshnamoorthy, but you can call me Dr. Daksh. I am a pediatrician who specializes in developmental and behavioral needs in young patients.
I offer my patients comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, management and care coordination for a wide range of developmental, behavioral and mental health conditions, including:
- Autism
- ADHD
- Anxiety
- Learning Disability
- Intellectual Disability
- Sleep, behavioral and mental health problems
I focus on understanding the behavioral and mental health challenges a child may be experiencing while taking a holistic approach that considers the child within the context of their caregiver and family relationships.
I strongly believe in empowering both children and caregivers through education, helping them gain a clear understanding of potential diagnoses and the unique strengths and challenges associated with them.
My goal is to equip families with the knowledge, skills and support needed to overcome difficulties, foster resilience and create pathways for long-term success.
My patient approach is grounded in the principles of confidence-building, resilient parenting and a growth mindset, enabling children to thrive and reach their full potential.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
