Dr. Daksh was raised in Chennai, India and earned her medical degree from ACS Medical College and Hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She subsequently moved to the United States, where she completed her Pediatric Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas. 

Driven by her passion for child development and mental health, she pursued fellowship training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her fellowship, she conducted research focused on emotional dysregulation in children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), an area that remains a significant clinical and academic interest for her.
