About me

Dr. Nicole Fett completed all of her schooling – from undergraduate to dermatology residency – at the University of Wisconsin. She is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology, as she completed a comprehensive, five-year Internal Medicine Dermatology Training Program offered at the University of Wisconsin. Following residency, Dr. Fett joined the faculty of one of the nation’s top dermatology programs - the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Dermatology, for four years before coming to OHSU. Dr. Fett is the acting Vice Chair of Dermatology.

Dr. Fett is a medical dermatologist providing care for the full range of dermatologic conditions, including skin cancer, with special expertise in autoimmune connective tissue diseases and autoimmune blistering diseases (cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, morphea, systemic sclerosis, vasculitis, bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus vulgaris). She sees patients at the Center for Health & Healing and Lake Oswego clinics, as well as at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Dr. Fett has published in many peer-reviewed journals, is a reviewer for three prominent journals, and has spoken at numerous national and international conferences. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Physicians, the Medical Dermatology Society, The Women’s Dermatological Society, the North American Rheumatologic Dermatology Society, the American College of Rheumatology, and the Dermatology Foundation.

In her spare time, Dr. Fett and her husband have many interests. They enjoy the outdoors - gardening, hiking, camping, and biking. Dr. Fett is a committed volunteer, supporting various organizations. They have also appreciated getting to know Portland’s restaurants, museums and music scene. But growing up an hour outside Green Bay, Wisconsin, and with deep roots still in the state, Dr. Fett’s true passion is rooting for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
